Artist Bio
Sorcie Elle is an American alternative dark pop singer/songwriter and sync artist with poetic lyrics and a uniquely haunting voice. Her vocal performances call to mind Amy Lee of Evanescence, Florence Welch of Florence + the Machine, and Hope Sandoval of Mazzy Star. Her influences include Hozier, Aurora and Poets of the Fall. While her songs hum with shadows, they are interlaced with an unflinching hopefulness. Sorcie’s lyrics paint a triumphant portrait of overcoming loss and defeating temptation. Her songs have been featured on CFAB Music Realm’s Grey Eagle Radio Show, the Women of Substance music podcast, and Concerts in Quarantine, a web broadcast hosted by Ryan Whyte Maloney of The Voice. Three of her songs were featured in the short film 'Alex and Margaret's Beginning' based on the Alex McKenna series by author Vicki-Ann Bush Sorcie's second album “Eternity,” was released in March, 2023. Her third album is currently in production.
Mystery, magic and longing are woven into Sorcie Elle's eclectic sound. Her dream is to help bring to life the stories portrayed in on-screen productions.
"There are a select few that I have seen so far who actually produce art. Sorcie Elle does exactly that. If you listen and concentrate on the words she is singing in her songs, they are all poetic masterpieces."
